Two lovely short poems

You smiled, You spoke and I believed
By every word and smile- decieved
Another would hope no more
Nor hope I -what I hoped before
But let not this last wish be vain
Decieve, Decieve me once again!

A magic moment I remember
I raised my eyes and you were there
A fleeting vision, the quintessence
Of all that’s beautiful and rare!
